BY TRAIN
Take the Metro (Underground) and get off at the Pozzuoli-Solfatara station which is about 800 metres from the entrance to the Volcano. You can come on foot or by city bus P9.
BY BUS
The line 152 and Sepsa buses leave Piazza Garibaldi, downtown Naples, cross the city and reach the Solfatara.
ride it all the way to exit n.11 of Agnano at about 4 Km. from the Solfatara, therefore follow the directions for Pozzuoli and the signs "Vulcano Solfatara".
BY AUTO
If you are coming from the Autostrada you must exit and, after the pay toll booth, take the entrance to the Tangenziale of Naples and ride it all the way to exit n.11 of Agnano at about 4 Km. from the Solfatara, therefore follow the directions for Pozzuoli and the signs "Vulcano Solfatara".

The Pozzuoli Flavian Amphitheatre situated in the center of the city was built by the Emperor Vespasian, the temple of Serapis, the Solfatara and many other places.
