Situated on the Posillipo hill, enjoys a spectacular view overlooking the charming bay and Vesuvius volcano. Looking towards the promenade along the seaside, you can see the Castel dell'Ovo, built during the eleventh century on the tufa-rock named Megaris, where the legend says, the Mermaid Partenope, enchanted by the place, built the city of Naples. Walking down the hill, you can arrive in few minutes to the harbour where the hydrofoils sail for the isles of Ischia and Capri. Going on for few steps, nearby the Mergellina Subway Station, you can visit the Mausoleum of Virgilio, ideal prelude to the greek-roman itinerary in the heart of the city.

Not far away from the central stop of the Funicular of Posillipo, Hotel Paradiso shows itself on the tourist harbour of Mergellina, from where leave the hydrofoils for the islands. Its panoramic position in residential zone, offers the advantage of a stay outside from the chaos of the city centre, that it is however reachable in about 15 min. The railway station of Mergellina, at approximately 1 km, allows to reach both the historical centre and from the "Flegrea" and "Mostra d'Oltremare" area, important exhibition and manifestations centres.

The hotel is equipped with 72 rooms, all completely restored in the year 2000. The elegantly furnished rooms are very bright and most of them enjoy stunning views from the gulf.
