Chiaja Hotel de Charme is right in the centre of the city, only 20 m. from Piazza del Plebiscito, the heart of Neapolitan culture.
The hotel is named after the street connecting the commercial area of Via Toledo with the stylish Via dei Mille and the elegant Piazza dei Martiri. The famous pizzeria Brandi is on the groundfloor in the same building and Gambrinus, the most ancient cafe' in the city, is 80 m. from the hotel. The position makes it an ideal reference point for shopping.
As soon as you come out of our hotel, you are deeply immersed in the lively Neapolitan culture and tradition: the Royal Palace, the Maschio Angioino castle, the Greek Naples with its ancient streets, the San Carlo Opera House, three theatres -Augusteo , Politeama and Sannazaro- and the Institute of Philosophical Studies, which all offer exhibitions, performances and events throughout the year, and are at a stone throw from Chiaja Hotel de Charme.

By plane:
From the airport You can catch a taxi up to "Piazza Trieste e Trento"-Via Chiaia. The hotel can book a taxi for you if required.
You may also use Alibus line and stop in "Piazza Municipio". Hotel is 500 mt. Far from Alibus stop: Take direction Piazza Trieste e Trento then turn in Via Chiaia . You will find us at number 216 (first floor).
By train:
Naples railway central station take the subway and stop to "Piazza Amedeo" or "Montesanto": the hotel si far about 1 kilometre from both metro stations. From central station, you may also use a taxi or bus line R2 and stop to the last bus stop in "Piazza Trieste e Trento". Tun in Via Chiaia and you will find us at number 216 (first floor).
By car:
The hotel can be easily reached from the highways Rome-Naples, Salerno-Reggio Calabria: Exit Napoli Centro and the drive straight on to Piazza Municipio and Piazza del Plebiscito. Turn left into Via Chiaja and you will find us at number 216 (first floor).

Not far from the structure are decumans, most ancient streets of the city, which provide quick and easy access to the vibrant historical centre of Naples. don Nicola room's: Nicola Lecaldano Sasso la Terza Nobody really knows what he was up to. We only know that he lived very well and at the end of 1800 he made a fantastic voyage all the way to China and Japan. On his return from that journey, he brought back to Italy many pieces of porcelain. Although a large number broke, each of his descendants has some of that china at home today -after four generations! Towards the end of 1800, during the excavations of Pompei, he sponsored Cavaliere Cinquegrana's "Officine di Arti Grafiche Napoletane" which produced prints representing.
o' Maestro's room: Gaetano Fusella Gaetano Fusella married Chiara Stella, the youngest daughter of the Marquis Lecaldano. He contributed to increase the good reputation of the music Conservatoire of Naples . Born in 1876, and pupil of Dworząk, he graduated in 1894, one year earlier than expected because, as Dworząk himself said, "he already knew all the secrets of the violin technique and I had nothing more to teach him". Between 1895 and 1896 he toured abroad following a very demanding schedule -in three months he played over seventy concerts. At first, with a quartet (named after him) he performed.
a stanz e zi Idarella: Ida, the third daughter of Nicola Lecaldano, met Domenico Pace from Guglionesi, a small town in Molise who came to Naples to attend University at the end of 1800. They married in 1900 and had 5 children: Vittorio, Marcello, Lucio, Manlio and Linda, our mother and grandmother. Domenico Pace was Cardarelli's favourite pupil and graduated with full marks in medicine in 1895. He was a lecturer in pathological medicine from 1900 and in clinical medicine from 1905. In 1910 he became head of The Institute of Medical Semiotics A great doctor, he concentrated his studies and
a stanz e zi Assuntina: The young Assuntarella studied piano at the Conservatoire in Naples where she met her composition teacher, Maestro Antonio Savasta. Although much older, he fell in love with her beauty and married her. In 1927, after the wedding they moved to Palermo where Savasta ran the local conservatoire. They only lived there for ten years as Aunty Assuntarella missed her beloved Naples, and didn't like living in Palermo. Antonio Savasta was a famous composer of his time. Although today his works have been forgotten, some of them, Galatea, Vera and la Fonte, were performed in the biggest.
