WELCOME TO HOTEL JANE!
The Hotel is located in a peaceful area close to the river Arno in the vicinity of Santa Croce, just 10 minutes by foot from the old city centre. It can be easily reached by car from the Firenze Sud highway exit. The streets around the hotel gather the most beautiful and complete examples of "florentine liberty" architecture's buildings.
Directly managed and run by the owners themselves, the recently-renovated hotel has 24 bedrooms equipped with all comforts.
Also available for guests are: a lift, a private bar and a special breakfast room with buffet service.
For clients arriving by car, we can offer our private garage (to be paid extra) or, in alternative, several parking places in front of the Hotel.

Hotel Jane is placed in a quiet area, close to the river Arno and the quarter of S.Croce. Going on foot 10 minutes you are in the centre of Florence. You can easily reach it by car from the motorway exit Firenze Sud.

From: Highway A1: Exit *Firenze Sud*- Direction Centre After 2 km turn right Take Via del Ghirlandaio At the fourth crossroad turn left in Via Gioberti. At the first crossroad turn left again and you are in Via Orcagna. We are at n. 56.

Near the Hotel there is an indoor swimming pool. Two public outdoor swimming pools are situated about 15 minutes by foot from the Hotel (nearly 1Km distance). Close to the Hotel there are two cinemas and some open air cocktail bars (open in summertime).
Many fine restaurants are located within walking distance. Restaurants within 200 m. from hotel: -Trattoria Il Barrino -Osteria Cocotrippone -Trattoria Di' Sordo -Ristorante Cibreo -Pizzeria Le Stagioni -Pizzeria La Luna. Within the same distance there are many places where to eat a quick snack and many bars for a good italian espresso or a delicious ice cream.
Historical centre ...10 minutes walking -Santa Croce Church, about 10 minutes walking, contains frescos of Giotto, the wooden cross of Cimabue and the tombs of Michelangelo, Machiavelli and Foscolo. -Piazza de'Ciompi with its daily market of antiquities. -Easy to reach is the Piazzale Michelangelo, the best panoramic view of all Florence.

This 3 star hotel comprises of 24 guests rooms, all of which are accessible by lift. All rooms are well equipped with en suite bathroom (with shower), air conditioning, safety deposit box, direct dial telephone, satellite TV and hairdryer. The hotel is open 24 hours and most major credit cards are accepted. A continental buffet breakfast is included in our web rates and a small inner bar is available to guests until late evening.
