WELCOME TO HOTEL AURORA!
An oasis of peace in the heart of Florence, Tuscany.
The hotel is situated very near to the station Santa Maria Novella, a little distance far from Palazzo dei Congressi and from Fortezza da Basso and at 600 metres from Duomo cathedral.
It is placed on the third floor of a building in Alamanni Street. Built at the beginning of the 20th century and it is divided into 12 rooms with wide bright windows.
All rooms overlook the hills of Florence whith Piazzale Michelangelo, the church of San Miniato, and the others most important monuments.
All hotel rooms are provided with bathroom heating, air conditioning, hair-drier, bar, telephone, safe, TV SAT, PC connection, fax and internet point, private lift. Parking facilities. Our staff will be at your disposal for any touristic request.

By Car:
from the South - Highway A1 - exit "Firenze Sud", then follow the signs "Viali Circonvallazione". Follow the entire belt-avenue passing from these following squares (these squares are easy to recognize because you can see the old door of the old city wall) Beccaria Square, Piazza della Libertą, Fortezza da Basso (Congress Centre), passing the train underpass you will arrive at Porta al Prato, here after the city door, turn left and changing direction (you pass again on the side of the city door), now after the 2nd traffic light, you have to turn right in "Jacopo da Diacceto" Street, from here continue going ahead, you will arrive in "Luigi Alamanni" Street. We are on the right at the n° 5.
From the North and Tyrrhenian Sea - Highway A1 or A11 - exit "Firenze Nord", as soon you are out of the Highway take the second road on the right and follow the signs "Stazione-Porta al Prato", "Viali di Circonvallazione". You are on a bridge, take the 1st road on the right following the signs "Stazione - Porta al prato - "Viali di Circonvallazione" now you are in Baracca Street, go ahead, pass by a bridge and you will be in "Puccini Sqaure", take "Ponte alle Mosse" Street, at the end of this you will find in front of you "Porta al Prato" (the old door of the old city wall) here you go right and keep soon on the left following the signs to the railway station, after the 2nd traffic light turn right in "Jacopo da Diacceto" Street, from here continue going ahead, you will arrive in "Luigi Alamanni" Street. We are on the right at the number 5.
By Train:
from the Santa Maria Novella railway station go on to the end of the railway, turn right and go down the stairs on the side "Arrivi" (arrivals) of the station, cross the traffic light in front of the station, turn right and after 10 meters you are in front of the hotel. We are in "Luigi Alamanni" Street, n° 5.
By Air:
the nearest airport is Amerigo Vespucci Airport in Florence. It is at 6 km from the hotel. Galileo Galilei Airport in Pisa is at 104 km.

The Hotel Aurora is located very close to the central railway station Santa Maria Novella, in the centre of Florence. So from this position are available all the trains and all the buses with connection to "Chianti" Area, "Siena", "Pisa" and Amerigo Vespucci Airport. The most important city tour starts just under our hotel. We have all the service around the hotel: chemist's shops, post offices, banks, cinemas, supermarkets, bars and pubs. Moreover we have 5 restaurants just in our block and about 300 restaurants open all day within 400 meters.

Hotel Aurora has 12 rooms: 1 single, 6 double, 4 triple and 1 quadruple. All the rooms are very quiet and sunny and overlook the hills of Florence with "Piazzale Michelangelo", the church of "San Miniato" and the others most important monuments.
All the accommodations have private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, heating, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone with direct outside dialling, safe, minibar and fridge, internet connection and fax on request.
