By car:
Coming from the north: From Rome take the motorway " Al " in direction south to Napoli after leaving Napoli, take motorway "A3" to Napoli -Salerno .Exit: Castellammare di Stabia and follow the road sign to Sorrento and at Meta di Sorrento take the road to Positano and 4 km. there is Praiano.
Coming from the south: Take motorway A3"Reggio Calabria" -Salerno. Exit: Vietri sul mare and follow the road sign to Costiera Amalfitana SS.163 in direction to Amalfi and km. 7 after there is Praiano.
By Train:
There are two railway stations. One in Napoli and another one in Salerno.
From Napoli, in a lower level you can catch the local train called "Circumvesuviana" to Sorrento and than bus "Sita" to Praiano. From Salerno you can catch bus "Sita" to Amalfi and than another one to Sorrento and stop in Praiano.
By Plane:
From Airport of Napoli "Capodichino", if you rent a car, follow the same indications "by car" .You can take too a bus to Sorrento called "Curreri" and from Sorrento another bus called "Sita" to Praiano or you can call or write us and we help you to organize the transfer by taxi ( on request in advance).

Hotel Margherita is located in Praiano, one of the most beautiful coastlines in Europe, a land of rocky cliffs and hidden covesbetween. Amalfi is at approx. 8 km and Positano at 4. Praiano is a very peaceful village featuring about 1500 inhabitants. The main place of interest in Praiano is its church (called "San Luca Evangelista") which boasts several important paintings realized by Giovanni Bernardo Lama and a silver bust of the saint. Praiano was also once the summer residence of the Dogi of the Amalfi Republic and than when Carlo I° D'Angiò was reigning, was a university site. Particular feature that can be found in Praiano are its defensive watch towers, symbols of its glorious past.
