The Hotel Conca d'Oro in Positano, close to the center, offers you fantastic views and a dreamlike atmosphere.
The Hotel was born in 1949 from an idea of Giovanni Cappiello. An ancient villa in the middle of a beautiful garden full of orange and lemon trees surround the hotel today,as in the past , guests love the setting of the hotel.
Actually, the managers are his (progeny).
With enthusiasm and passion they continue to welcome the guests offering kindness and warmth, that you can find only in a family hotel.

Positano represents the perfect point of departure, due to it's central location, for innumerable pleasant excursions to many nice places in the surrounding district.

By car:
Coming from the north: Take the autostrada del Sole to Naples and then follow the signs for Salerno-Reggio Calabria motorway, which you take as far as the Castellammare di Stabia exit; from there, follow the signs for Positano.
When arriving to Positano follow the one way road on your right hand side leading down towards the center. After about 700mt you will find on your left hand side Parking Milano. Here you can park your car (on payment) and we have a porter who will help you with the luggage to the hotel.
Coming from the south: Take either route SS.163 Amalfitana or the Salerno Naples motorway to Castellammare di Stabia, as above.
By Train:
The most convenient railway station in Naples is Napoli Centrale, where on a lower level you can get a Circumvesuviana local train to Sorrento; buses for Positano leave from the square in front of Circumvesuviana station at Sorrento.
By Plane:
If you arrive at Naples Capodichino airport, take a taxi or bus to Circumvesuviana station, as above.
By Taxi:
We can organize transfer from the airport or the station to the hotel.

Positano is not just a perfect point of departure for tours and excursions, but also a village full of activity and life.
The houses, one on top of the other, the narrow streets - with the numberless boutiques - descends rapidly between the houses, like floods through the rocky mountain passes, and they all flow out on the main beach " Spiaggia Grande". From there it may be the only place where the view behind your shoulders above the village is more beautiful than the view over the sea in front of you.
The other small beaches in Positano are Fornillo and Remese to the west, and La Porta, Fiumicello, Arienzo and Laurito to the east.
Positano is not only beaches, some other pleasant excursions are those up to the Lattari mountains above the village. After 3 km you will find the village of Montepertuso and Nocelle. From here begins the famous pathway "Sentiero degli Dei" , Pathway of the Gods, with fantastic panoramic views that are unique and unforgettable over the whole coast.
You can also decide to climb even higher up to one of the mountains of Sant'Angelo a Tre Pizzi, which forms the highest summits on the peninsula, they reach over 1400 meters.
Within 200 mt guests can find many shops and amusements. The beach of Fornillo is at 15 minutes walking (down the steps). Bus service at 100 m. All other facilities are reachable by steps (the hotel is located on a cliff connected with the beach and the village by steps (about 100).

The rooms are divided into double Junior, double superior and Suite and are all furnished according to the local mediterrean style. All have ensuite bathroom decorated with local majolica with bathtube or shower, hairdryer and direct telephone with possibility of Internet connection.
All rooms have a wonderful seaview, with balcony or solarium terrace.
